Definning Life

In class we've looked at some of the key ideas that Biologically define life.  But what does life mean to you?  What is being alive?  If you had to pick 2-5 key elements to describe life, what would they be?

First days of school

Each of us is given just one opportunity to make a first impression to a new group of people.  If you are like me, you put a lot of thought into what you want your first impression to be upon new people you meet.  Feel free to list some of the most important items you think a first impression should have.   What is the MOST important thing you think others need to see/take away from meeting you?
